Forever the Rebel Breaks the Rap Mold with Ease

Forever the Rebel has never been a follower, always been a leader. This ethos has led her to this precise moment. Having won Dwayne Wade’s Chicago Got Talent in 2010 and her more recent certification in Audio Engineering, she has always managed to do things a lot differently. A combination of rapping ability meshed with some stellar producing skills has resulted in something that merges the past and the present effortlessly.

Her goal is to change the way that female rappers are perceived. Doing things her way, she has managed to weave together Emo rap, Chicago Drill, Pop, Punk Rock, and Rage pop into a singular, distinctive atmosphere. The results speak for themselves as she touches upon some of the most innovative voices today.

An entire life spent in the Windy City of Chicago has paved the way for her to take front and center stage in her new hometown of Atlanta. A well-known figure in the scene there already, a location that gives birth to Dirty South, Outkast’s undeniable style, amongst others, she taps into a whole bunch of different groups. Even her interests outside of rap, like skateboarding and gaming, add to her undeniably unique persona.

The many elements of her dexterous understanding of how to build a track-up come from her interest in poetry. Indeed, one can sense that the real visceral world she creates for the listener is one that she has fully lived, adding to her inherent authenticity as an artist.
